Easter

We had a wonderful Easter weekend! Saturday afternoon our friends hosted an all out Easter Egg hunt for the kids, they had a blast! Even Quinlan got in on the action. They also had an egg toss with real eggs, William was quite sad when his cracked :0) Sunday the kids were very excited that the Easter Bunny came and brought them new water bottles and a few other treats; we then went on a lovely hike in the Prince William Forest. The kids did great as we actually hiked for 2 hours! Along the way we had our adventures, William's brand new water bottle fell into the "river", don't worry, Daddy was able to rescue it (twice) from the raging river! On our way out of the forest we saw a large snake sunning itself in the tree! I couldn't believe it and wondered if it was even alive, it assured me it was by moving its head ever so slightly; I then ran up the hill away from the snake!

We are now officially on spring break and taking full advantage of it! Lillian is taking golf lessons this week on base; and the boys and I will be working out and relaxing!! For more pictures :

Lillian's 6th Birthday

Lillian celebrated her 6th birthday a few weeks ago now on March 23rd. She had a weekend full of celebrations! Friday we celebrated by going out for a special dinner and then picking up cupcakes from Wegman's. She opened her gifts from our family and her Grandma and Grandpa O'Brien, Grandma Soucie and Aunt Allison, Uncle Will, and Cousins Charlie and Bennett. Saturday, as one of her birthday presents, Bill and I took her to the American Girl store up in Tyson's Corner Va to pick out her very own American Girl Doll. She was so excited and it was so much fun to watch her! She picked McKenna, the gymnast :) Sunday was her birthday party at Gymnastics! All her friends from school came and they had a blast! They got the run of the whole gym for an hour. they even brought out the harness on the trampoline so the kids could do flips! All in all I think she had a wonderful 6th birthday!! :0)

William's 4th Birthday

William celebrated turning 4 first with his friends at his birthday party at the bowling alley on base Sunday March 4th. Everyone had such a wonderful time, and it was so wonderful to see William loving every minute of it! Especially his Captain America Cupcake Cake! Monday, March 5th, he woke up to birthday streamers from his doorway and around the house and that evening we had a wonderful family celebration. He is such a big boy now it is hard to believe he is already 4 years old! At his 4 year check up he was 38lbs and 41.2inches tall! There are loads more pictures on our family web site!

Ice Skating-January 2012

This past weekend we took the kids to an ice skating rink in Manassas, they had a blast! I was shocked at how well they did, especially William! I swear William skates better than he walks sometimes!! :0) We will definitely be going again, so I will try and take some video!! Enjoy some more pictures:

Syracuse/Holidays 2011

We had a wonderful time in Syracuse over the holiday break. We were able to celebrate Hanukkah, my mothers birthday, and Christmas with my parents and family. It was so nice to get away and have some time to relax and even enjoy some snow! The kids had a wonderful time with everyone and loved taking over Grandma and Grandpa's house! :0)

Quinlan's First Birthday

I'm a little late, but here are some pictures from Quinlan's 1st Birthday. We had a wonderful time celebrating his special day. I think he even enjoyed himself! He weighed in at 19.75lbs and was 20.75 inches long. He has just started walking, stay tuned for video!! :0)
